ABOUT

The SJC Show Choir was founded in February of 2014. Since then, we have held numerous performances and events to share the joy of musical theatre with the community. Our goal is to help students at our campus gain confidence, find friendships, and strengthen public speaking skills thorugh rehearsals and performance experiences on and off campus.

With a focus in musical theatre selections, the SJC Show Choir works to create an inclusive environment for the students at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY. While there are no auditions, we strive to train our performers to be confident with harmonies, acting, movement and more intense dancing based on the training and comfort levels of the performers.

Our passion is to share our love of performing with our community, and spend our time planning visits to local assisted living facilites and planning events for children in the community. Please navigate the website to find out details about our future events, make reservations, or view photographs from past events.

As a St. Joseph's College club, we are asked to select a charity that ties with our club's passion. Each semester, we hold an iPod drive to donate to Music & Memory, an organization that collects iPods to donate to people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dimensia. For more information about this charity, click here. For information about our current iPod drive, click here.

On behalf of the current executives of the SJC Show Choir, we thank you for visiting our website, and hope to see you at our future performances!
